Counsel asked for a fixture at the Court at Wangauui, and Mr J. S. Barton, S.M., replied that there were now fixtures right up to the day before Christmas Eve. Counsel replied that there did not appear to be much chance of getting the case heard this year. "1 am afraid not," remarked the S.M. "I want a day to clean up, as I like time to 'compose myself for the period of peace and goodwill."
