Ten thousand participated in Tool H birthday festival, which was begun by a service conducted by the Dean at Westminster Abbey to which they marched headed by Lord Plumer, the Burgomaster of Ypres, 140 padres and 275 banner bearers from branches*, through the Empire. After the .ser-j vice they paraded past the Unknown! Warrior's tomb. . j In the evening they gathered at the Albert Hall, where Lord Forster, who! presided read the latest bulletin regarding His Majesty the King, and; the vast audience rose and sang “ Godj Save the King,” thereafter a send- 1 religious masque was presented, illus-'; trating Toe H ideals, in which 8007 costumed performers participated with a massed choir of 500 voices. There was a solemn ceremony of lighting the.,. Lamps of Remembrance, the festival concluded with prayer led by Archbishop Davidson. Lord Forster read out greetings from Melbourne, Sydney* Wellington and Christchurch.
