PRINCE’S PROGRESS.
A RAPID JOUR HEY. MAY REACH LONDON WEDNESDAY. (By Telegraph—Press Assn.— Copyright.) (Australian Press Association.) LONDON, Dee. S. The Prince of Wales arrived at Suez on Saturday. The cruiser Enterprise covered the 1500 miles from Aden in abotiL 51 hours. The total estimated steaming time from Dar-es-Saiaam to Suez, a distance of about 3500 miles, was 121 hours. The Prince proceeded by train to Cairo. He joined the Enterprise, ! which is scheduled to arrive at Brin- ! disi on Monday morning, though she ! may possibly be there on Sunday night. In that case it has been arranged that a special train will leave immediately. The President, M. Doumergue, has instructed the French police to depute a personal bodyguard to board the train at Ihe Swiss border and escort the Prince through France. Very keen interest is being taken in the Prince’s journey. Everyone in Bri- j tain will he relieved when he reaches London. CAIRO, Dec. 8. Owing In Ihe early hour of the arrival at Cairo of Hie Prince of Wales no large crowds assembled. The Prince was looking very bronzed, but tired. He drove to Ihe Residency with Lord Lloyd, where he was shown the latest bulletins, and was relieved to hear the reassuring news.
