SYDNEY FASHIONS.
COLOURS THAT COUNT. Sydnev hasn't had much chance so far to show what colours the Spring is made of, but fashion has definitely listed the colours that count. Daffodil is in the foremost line, and sufficient tribute to "its smartness is the difficulty of obtaining yellow materials. \nother chic colour is cachou, a grey-ish-vcllow tint, not quite so formidable as mustard, although the latter is very fashionable, when trimmed with darker material. Mastic has come into its own again, but although resembling putty, it contains a warmer brown. Navy and lighter blue have a place in everv Paris collection. A new tor : quoise is paler than the greeny-blue shade we have been used to, ami spotted navy, or navy trimmed with skv-bluc, are all in the picture. Black and pink is a popular alliance, and pinkish-mauve, apricot, flame, and raspberry are popular. In chiffon cafe-au-lait is a favourite, as it goes well with lace, and a pale pink is an excellent foundation for all the parchment and Monde shades of ninon or lace The colour in the heart of a rose has been snared to make a pink satin pale enough for b-ridal use
