GUILTY OF FRAUD.
EX-LABOUR LEADER. FURTHER TERM OF IMPRISONMENT CHRISTCHURCH, Friday. On two charges of fraud, Albert Fisher, at one time leader of the Christchurch unemployed, appeared in the Police Court to-day, before Mr E. D. Mosley, S.M. The accused: I’m serving one sentence and 1 don’t want to go to gaol again, for my wife is ill and I have a position to go to when 1 come out. Accused was sentenced to 18 hours’ imprisonment with hard labour on cacti charge, the sentence to be added to the term ho now serving.
