The operations in the two dairy factories at this centre are assuming large dimensions, and it is anticipated that within the next few weeks both plants ■will be working at their maximum capacity. The machinery throughout ihe factories has been thoroughly overhauled during the past two months and an efficient standard thus secured. In the butter factory increased freezing power has been obtained by the installation of a large duplex compressor, while in the dried milk factory increased storage has been provided by the erection of larger hot-wells. At a meeting of the combined staffs of the two branches in connection with matters pertaining to the New Zealand Co-operative Dairy* Company Emplovees’ Superannuation Fund, Messrs. J B Wathen, C. I. Barker, 0. L. Lasenby and C. 11. Cresswell were appointed delegates to attend the annual meeting of members.
