LONDON, Sept. 5The executive of the Cotton Spinners Manufacturers’ Association’s report for the year ended July 31 shows that the world’s cotton consumption was 25,540,000 bales, a decrease of 341,000 compared with the previous year. The United States with 3,180,000 bales was the chief consumer, Britain being next with 1,393,000.
