LABOUR HOPEFUL. EARLY RETURN TO POWER. (By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright.) (Official Wireless.) KUGBY, September 6. Speaking at the conference of the Trades Union Congress to-day Mr Arthur Henderson, M.P., chief Whip of the Labour Party, predicted the success of that party at the next general election. He said the coming months would see Labour’s greatest political adventure. if he read the signs of the limes correctly Labour now stood at the threshold of power and responsibility. It was all the more important to maintain close contact between the industrial and political sides. They must endeavour to harmonise and co-oper-ate their respective policies.
