THE RAINFALL.
AUGUST REGISTRATIONS. The rainfall at Morrinsville as recorded by Geo. E. Seville shows that 1.87 inches fell on nine days, the highest daily fall, .68 inches, being registered on the loth. The August fall for the four previous years was: —1927, 1.02 on 18 days; 1926, 5.51 on 15 days; 1925, 2.04 on 9 days; 1 92 1, 3.58 on 9 days.
