TOWN BOARD ELECTIONS.

NO POLL AT MATAMATA. (Special to Times.) MATAMATA, Friday. Nominations of candidates to fill the seven vacancies on the Matamata Town Board closed to-day. As the candidates did not exceed the number required no poll will be necessary. The onlv change in the personnel of the Board is that Mr W. Ruthe replaces Mr B. C. Taylor, who did not seek reelection. The new Board will be: — Messrs J. Buchanan, Ivan Black, J. 11. Hawes, J. Mclntyre, W. Ruthe, A. Stewart, W. J. Stanley. Mr Joseph Price was re-elected unopposed as the district representative on the Thames Valley Power Board.
