PRAYER OF PEACE
Eternal Father, give us peace; our souls are torn villi strife. Cleanse from our hearts the angry storms iliat tend to taking lire. Give us a cheery smile, to greet the. stubborn looks or those Who In their blindness hasten forth to bring the world to blows. Give us contentment In our homos; too oft through days in Hell We've lived, when hastened words have brought the, news our loved ones fell. Take rrorn our minds tliu.se hitter pangs of war-worn yesterday, And with the shining lamp or Peace light up the heller way.
Give wisdom to the ones who stt In council seeking Peace; The pen is mightier than the sword to bring a swirt release From War's, grim terrors that the world 100 oi't lias raced in vain. Give wisdom. Father, that the world will race them not again. Sweet Peace, pure hearts, a spirit clean, lo race, the future, we, Our rather who controls the world, now humbly ask or Thee.
