N.Z. FARMERS' UNION.

MORRINSVILLE BRANCH. At the monthly meeting of the Morrinsville branch of the Farmers' Union the president (Mr J. C. Allen) presided. Owing probably to so many farmers having made the journey to Hamilton to see the football match, there was only a small attendance of members. Besides the usual formal business Mr P. Keegan laid the claims of the Country Party before the members and pointed out some of the many faults and failings of the Reform Party. Ilis address was on much the same lines as that delivered in Morrinsvilk; a short time ago.

He received an attentive hearing and a hearty vote of thanks.

The only other business of consequence was a report stating that the annual smoke concert had not only been a most successful and enjoyable function, but had left a balance in hand after outstanding accounts had been paid.
