In the Belgo-Australian tennis tourney Miss Boyd beat Mademoiselle Guyot, 6 —o, 6 —o; Misses Akhurst and Boyd beat Mcsdemoisellcs Sigart, o—l, 6 —2; Miss Bickerton and Mrs O’Hara Wood beat Mcsdemoiselies Guyot and Deboman, 6—o, 6—o. The Australians were unbeaten in 11 mutches. In the men's matches Ewbank beat Cummings, 6—o, 3—6, 6—l, Ewbank beat Van der Bemden, C—3, 6—3; Moon and Cummings bcaL Washer and Francois, 9—7, B—7; . Hopman and Crawford beat La Croix and Ewbank, 6—o, 6—2. In the mixed doubles Mademoiselle .1. Sigart and Washer beat Mrs O’Hara Wood and Crawford, -I—6, 6 —2 I — 4.
