The Australians were unbeaten in 11 mutches. In the men's matches Ewbank beat Cummings, 6—o, 3—6, 6—l, Ewbank beat Van der Bemden, C—3, 6—3; Moon and Cummings bcaL Washer and Francois, 9—7, B—7; . Hopman and Crawford beat La Croix and Ewbank, 6—o, 6—2. In the mixed doubles Mademoiselle .1. Sigart and Washer beat Mrs O’Hara Wood and Crawford, -I—6, 6 —2 I — 4.
