The Wireless and Cable Companies’ Conference will meet to-morrow to complete its report, which is expected to be signed unanimously. It will then be transmitted to all the Governments concerned for their approval or criticism. The members of the Australian delegation are satisfied that the interests of Australia and New Zealand have been adequately safeguarded as regards both wireless and cable communications. LATER. Details of the report of the wirelesscables conference have already been transmitted to Lite respective Governments with a view to immediate consideration and avoiding delay by mail. It is hoped the Dominions’ replies will be received in time to reach finality before the rising of the House of Commons early in August.
