The following barometer and thermometer readings taken from 9 a.m. daily, and weather conditions are kindly supplied by Mr Jas. Bremner: Barometer. Thursday .... 30.10 Friday 30.15 Thermomenier. max. min. Wednesday 55 42 Thursday 60 43 Barometer, 30.15 with rising tendency. Indications are for generally fair weather with probably an occasional light shower; winds mostly from west to south with lower temperature. Yesterday was fair and partly overcast with light south-west winds. Mean temperature, 51.5 degrees. The Weather Bureau wires : The indications for 24 hours from 9 a.m. this day are for moderate to strong northerly winds, freshening and backing by west to south after about’24 hours. Expect dull, cloudy and unsettled weather, with much mist and fog in parts. Rain following. Barometer falling.
