GERMAN ELECTIONS.
OUTSTANDING FEATURES. INCREASE IN COMMUNISM. DUE TO MOSCOW’S PROPAGANDA. (By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright.'' (Australian Press Assn. —United Service.) (Received May 28, 10.30 a.m.) LONDON, May 27. The Observer’s Berlin correspondent says that the outstanding facts of the elections are: (1) the approach of a peaceful Germano-Polish trade agreement; (2) France will see every measure taken to fulfil German obligations; (3) Russia will have no cause to complain; (4) Capital and Labour will almost certainly meet in a coalition Government. The increase in Communism, says the correspondent, is attributable to Moscow propaganda and not to German unrest. If Moscow’s influence is to continue she will have td arrange a less destructive policy in the Reichstag, since decent people are repelled by the offensiveness and histrionism of the Communist members.
