STRONGER THAN DYNAMITE
A NEW EXPLOSIVE. RADIUM AN INGREDIENT. (Australian Press Association.) (Received May 28, 8.45 a.m.) NEW YORK, May 27. A message from Pasadena states a new explosive, of which radium is an important ingredient, was reported by the military professors of the California Institute of Technology to have shown itself 30 per cent, more powerful than T.N.T., and 15 per cent, more effective than commercial dynamite in official tests which were conducted to-day. The inventor is captain Zimmer, of Los Angeles.
