SHOCKING ACCIDENT.
’PLANE FLYS INTO CROWD.
TWO KILLED, MANY INJURED.
MISTAKE OF THE AVIATOR.
(By Telegraph.—Press Assn. —Copyright.) (Australian Press Association). (Received May 28, 12.45 p.m.) PARIS, May 27. A shocking accident occurred at an aviation fete at Orly. An aeroplane crashed into a crowd of spectators, lulling two and injuring seven. The areoplane had no connection with the fete. It was a naval plane carrying out a practice flight. Noticing the aerodrome the pilot decided to land, but when he shut off his engine he suddenly found he was too low. He was unable to rise in time, and the machine swept into the crowd. All the injured were taken to the hospital, but the pilot received only a few bruises.
