Mrs Georgina Albert lias Hied a petition for a divorce from her busband, Arthur H. Albert, .who figured prominently before the Civil Royal Commission. Martha Gordon, also prominent at the inquiry, is named in the petition, having acted as clerk for Albert, in which capacity she paid out instalments of the £IO,OOO to Maling.

This is the second divorce case which has arisen since the opening of the inquiry, Mrs Maling having Hied an action against her husband, and joining thereto Mrs Piltock, whose iumo also figured in tiie .evidence.
