ON THE RISE IN WAIKATO. SOME GOOD PRICES. There have been several instances latterly of the high price that is ruling for stock in the Waikato. A lino of nearly 1000 fat wethers, sold on behalf of the Waipa Estate (Putaruru), realised 35s per head. Another illustration of Ihe advance of 111 n market is indicated by the sale of a Polled Angus heifer by Messrs Dalgety and Go. at the Franldon yards on account of Mr Vere Ghitty, at £ls ss, the purchasers being Messrs Ayers and Smith.
