This game was played at Seddoa Park on Saturday, with both the abow teams heading the South Auc&'and League table, and the reputation of tho Pukemiro Junction being well known it was not surprising to see a very good attendance to. witness their meeting. Play throughout was of an excellent character, the visitors being a wellbalanced eleven, whereas Railways werr very weak in the forward line, Moon having very little support indeedIt was not until immediately after the second half thai Junction 'penetrated the Railways defence, Robertson, from the centre half position, essaying a long shot, which beat Elvey. Fifteen minutes later Dodds, at inside left, added the only other goal of the game. T. Dodds, Robertson, Black and Bate were the pick of the visitors, English, Thompson and Moon working solidly for the Railways side. Mr James Baillie was referee. Claudelands Rovers 7 v. Glen fflnoooy 2 Although Glen Massey scored first in this game they had to finish up well and truly beaten by an eleven which played solid, combined football, Deacon, their centre half, being the best man on the field. The goal scorers were: Rogers (3), Deacon (2, both from penalties) and Andy Emerson (2) for Claudelands, and Gair (2) for Glen Massey. Mr Reg. Cook was referee.
