TEACHER'S TRANSFER.
COURT REJECTS APPEAL. NELSON, Sunday. A Teachers' Appeal Court, consisting of Mr. T. E. Maunsoll, S.M., and Mr. A. Robinson, lias been engaged for two days hearing the appeal of a teacher of a sole-teacher school against her transfer to another school of a similar grade and salary. After hearing evidence Mr. Maunsell said a school teacher was jn the same position as any other Civil servant, and had no vested right to any particular position. “ Before we can allow the appeal,'.’ said Mr. Maunsoll, “ wo must discredit the whole of the hoard's evidence. The hoard did not rush into its decision to transfer, hut gave (lie ease Jong consideration. Allhough we dismiss the appeal our action is nothing in the nature uf a condemnation of Ujc teacher in question as a leaeher.”
