THE LURE OF TENNIS.

THREE YEAR-OLD ENTHUSIAST. INCIDENT IN HAMILTON. Tennis must hold a strong appeal when the urge to play the racquet game is found in one.so young as Don Elliott, the three year-old son of Mr Albert Elliott, of Anglesea Street, Hamilton. Early this morning Don's parents became alarmed at his absence from home and a vigilant search for some time, was instituted by parents and friends without avail. As the child was known to exhibit a particularly keen interest in tennis, somebody suggested that he might have gone astray with a racquet. A search of the house disclosed that a racquet and ball were missing and the little enthusiast was finally discovered on the Church of England courts, where he was vigorously batting the ball against the rallying board.
