INDUSTRIAL RABBIT CLUB.

FORMED IN AUCKLAND

MONEY IN THE CLIP

(By Telegraph—Special to Times.)

AUCKLAND. Thursday

An enthusiastic meeting formed, with 100 members, an Auckland branch of the proposed New Zealand Industrial Rahbit Club.

The chairman said the annual clip of the Angora wool rabbit was worth one guinea. One acre would grow hay and greenery for 150 rabbits. One woman could manage 300 and a married couple could manage 1000. All the operations were done in sheds or enclosures, rendering the industry absolutely harmless to agriculture.
