GOVERNMENT REVERSE. LIBERALS GAIN SEAT. (Received February 11, 11.55 a.m.) LONDON, Feb. 10. The by-election for Lancaster, rendered necessary by the late member, Sir G. Strickland, succeeding to a peerage, resulted:— R. Tomlinson (Lib.) 14,689 Ramsbotham (Con.) 12,860 D. Davies (Lab.) 6,101 At the general election the figures were:— Sir G.
