ENGINEER'S SERVICES.

A VALUABLE REPORT. APPRECIATION FROM TAUMARUNUI Appreciation of the services of the borough engineer (Mr R. Worley)' was conveyed to the Hamilton Borough Council last night by the solicitors for the Taumarunui Borough Council. It was pointed out that in connection with the. litigation which took place this year between the Taumarunui Borough Council and Messrs CoryWright and Salmon relative to a water filtration plant which the latter erected, permission was granted by the Hamilton Council to allow Mr Worley to examine and report on the plant and later give evidence. The Taumarunui Borough Council Was very gratified with the assistance given and considered Mr Worley's work' and evidence a material factor in the - decision being given in its favour.
