BROKEN EX-SERVICEMEN. ENTERTAINED AT ROYAL PALACE. LITTLE DUCHESS PARTICIPATES. (Australian and N.Z. Cable Assn.) (Received December 22, 11.30 a.m.) LONDON, Dec. 21. The King's Christmas party at Royal Riding, Buckingham Palace, was evidence that broken ex-servicemen are not forgotten. Seven hundred from forty hospitals were entertained under the auspices of the "Not Forgotten" Association. The school was converted into the semblance of a Latin Quarter restaurant by means of hundreds of coloured balloons and the walls were covered with holly and evergreens. Suddenly the Little Duchess entered with the Duke of York and was bombarded with cottonwool snowballs as she walked to a monster Christmas tree. Many of the guests were accompanied by nurses as they were unable to leave their invalid chairs. The Duchess had a cheery word and smile for everyone.
