CHRISTMAS EVE TRAFFIC Notice is hereby given that, under the powers conferred by the Municipal Corporations AcL, 1920, the Council has resolved that all vehicluar traffic is prohibited on Victoria Street, between Ward. Street and Hood Street from the hour of 7 p.m. until the hour of 10 p.m. on Saturday the 24th. inst.' Vehicles travelling north between these hours from the Eastern or Southern end of the town will proceed by way of Hood Street, Anglesea St.,. Collingwood St., and Hinemoa Street., to Ward Street, and vehicles travelling south will proceed by way of Ward St., Hinemoa St., Collingwood St., and Anglesea St., to Hood St. This prohibition applies to motor buses and taxis; temporary stands for taxis will be arranged by the Trafflo Inspector.
