The late Miss Grace Lilian Mitchell bequeathed half of her estate, the full value of which is over £io,ooo, to the benefit of such charitable organisations, institutions or objects in Duncdin as her trustee may think fit. Deceased by her will expressed a wish to assist any organisation, institution or object, as shall have for one of its objects the assistance of persons adversely affected by the late war, and empowered her trustee to create or endow an institution for that purpose, to be known as the "Lilian Mitchell Institute."
