SEASIDE CAMP.

TREAT FOR THE CHILDREN.

DISPOSAL OF THfc. BONDS

EARLY RETURN DESIRED

The campaign to raise funds for the children's camp which is to be held at Oketc from January 4 to January 2-1, is drawing to a close. The committee report that it has met with a generous response from residents of the country districts, while many bonds have been issued for sale to a large number of local residents.

Recognising the earnest desire of the committee to make the most complete arrangements possible for the enjoyment, by the children of their holiday at the seaside, it is hoped that the public of the local town district who have bonds for disposal will do their best to quit the bonds and remit the result to the chairman of the committee (Dr. Spencer) at the earliest possible moment. There is no undertaking that has met with more popular favour than the proposal to take poor children for a seaside holiday and the people in charge of the campaign feel perfectly satisfied that the undertaking will be a complete success. Parents and guardians should particularly note that applications for enrolment for the camp should be made at the Winter Show office to-morrow (Thursday).
