VERY LARGE SHIPMENTS. SEASON'S ALLOTMENTS. WELLINGTON, Tuesday. .Very large shipments of butter and cheese have been going overseas since early in October.'" During the last four months, 1,250,000 boxes of butter, equal to over 31,000 tons, and 340,000 crates of cheese, equal to 10,000 tons, have been shipped for overseas ports, apart from heavy shipments to Australia and Vancouver. Allotments to the end of this month arc:—Tongariro, December 21, butter 45,000, cheese 6005; Maliia, December 22, 38,80(5 and 26,000; lonic, December 30, 60,000 and 22,570; Port Frcmantle, December 31, 60,000 and 22,629. These loadings will bring the total shipments for December up to 401,396 boxes of butter and 138,553 crates of cheese, and the total for the season from August to December 31 up to 1,240,756 boxes of butter and 339,852 crates of cheese.
The shipping, allotments made for the remainder of the season are:— January, butter 426,000, cheese 140,000; February, 350,000 and 140,000; March, 350,000 and 140,000; April, 250,000 and 140,000: May, 200,000 and 140,000; June, 100,000 and 30,000; July, 100,00(1 and 10,000.
