HELP FOR UNEMPLOYED.
(To the Editor.) li Sir, —May I take this opportunity of |j thanking those who contributed left- jj off clothing, etc., on Iho occasion of the recent “drive” in aid of the needy, jj also those who so kindly assisted in Si collecting the clothing.. The “drive” b was a wonderful success, and adequate jj clothing was collected to meet the |i present demand. The articles collect- jj cd wore in every case in splendid order, | and in numerous cases almost new. In conclusion, sir, I would like to thank j the Waikato Times for the very goner- | ous way in which it treated the organ- | iscrs ot' the “drive.” It is most grati- j lying to have a local paper which j always recognises “the cause that jj needs assistance” and realises “Ihc | gOwd that it can do.” —I am, etc., § R. F. HAYCOCK, | Organising Secretary. j St. George’s Vestry, Frankton. |
