The newspaper Al Ahram states that the 1500-ton Russian steamer, Chicherin, was seized when .leaving Alexandria for Odessa with £90,000 worth of cotton which Russians purchased in Alexandria. It is stated the mixed Court has ordered the seizure at the request of the Society of the Maritime Egytienne, owners of the steamer Costi, which the Russians recently seized and confiscated at Odessa.
