THEIR DEVELOPMENT URGED.

(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Monday.
Hon. A. D. McLeod, in an address at the Pageant of Industries, strongly urged the development of secondary industries, lie was convinced a country like New Zealand must not depend on primary production alone. lie claimed that there had never been in the history of the Dominion a more earnest band of workers for the general welfare and progress of the people and' the country than the present Ministry.
