TROWERN v. PRINGLE

WIN FOR NEW ZEALANDER,

(United Press Association.) SYDNEY, October 28. At the Sydney Stadium this evening Merv Williams fought a 15rounds draw with Tommy Mclnnis, It was a fast and clever contest. At the Newcastle Stadium Reg. Trowcrn (9.12), of New Zealand, easily defeated George Pringle (10.2) in 11 rounds on a technical knockout. Trowcrn took the command from the commencement and out-boxed and out-fought, his opponent. After rerecciving severe punishent Pringle went down in the 11th round to a heavy left to the jaw and was in such a had way that his seconds threw in the towel.
