The New Zealand team is Mills, Dempster, Page, Blunt, James, Lowry, Allcott, Dacre, McGirr, Mcrritt, Henderson; twelfth man: Oliver. For New South Wales Watson is twelfth man. There is a good attendance. New South Wales won the toss and baited. After ten minutes Henderson skittled Phillips' wickets. The scoring was mostly in singles, Gregory getting the first boundaryThe fielding was good. Henderson and McGirr are keeping the batsmen cautious. James slightly hurt his shoulder, and was replaced at the wickets by Lowrv. Scores are: NEW SOUTH WALES. Phillips, b Henderson 6 Gregory, not out 20 Andrews, not out 4
