TOO MUCH WATER.
DAIRY FACTORY FINED. NOT A SERIOUS OFFENCE. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) BLENHEIM, Thursday. The Waitohi Dairy Factory was charged with selling to Connolly and Company butter containing a greater portion of added water than was permitted under the regulations, and was fined 10s, with costs 21s Cd. Connolly was charged with selling Lhc butter to the department inspector, and was ordered to pay costs ,10s. The magistrate remarked that the offence was not a serious one. No attempt had been made to evade the regulations.
