BULL SALE.

PEDIGREE CATTLE. I CORSBINED BREEDERS. ANNUAL DISPERSAL. The twelfth annual pedigree bull sale of the Wtvkato Combined Breeders’ Association came io a successful conclusion yesterday, when pedigree Jersey blood stock changed hands. Buyers from all parts of the Dominion were present and made timely use of the opportunity offered in purchasing new blood to increase the produc- . tivcncss of their herds. The splendid arrangements called for favourable comment from many visitors. Roomy accommodation was provided, and every facility for buyers suitably arranged. The highest price of the day was paid by It. A. Davenport, of Ngarua, for Green View Rambler, sired by Bangle’s Duke William, an outstanding J bultcrfat producing bull, out of Glen Briar Fancy. This bull changed hands at 55 gns, Ihe vendor being Mr G. Taylor, of Ngarua. Woodside Cid also changed hands at a nice figure, Mr E. C. Houchen, of Hamilton, purchasing him for 51 gns. This bull, by Superman out of Cidaline (imp.), justified the purchasers’ choice in selecting such fine butterfat producing blood. The average price realised was entirely satisfactory, and although not as high as the previous days, was very gratifying ,to the vendors. The average price for Jersey bulls knocked down was 234 gns for the 110 head sold. Following are the results: — Ridgway Golden Emperor, Sept. 4, 1926, on account W. T. Luxton, Puketaha; W. G.
