THE POLICE FORCE.
RESJGPiATSQN. WELLINGTON, Wednesday. The retirement from the Police Force of Superintendent C. R. Broberg, M.V.0., of Wellington, was announced to-day by the Commissioner of Police, 'Mr W B. Mcllveney. Superintendent Broberg has had 34 years of service in the Police Force and he is retiring for reasons of health. "Superintendent Broberg's services, ' said Mr Mcllveney, "are highly appreciated by the department and, I have no doubt, by the country he has served so well."
