SUNSHINE LEAGUE FUNDS.
(To the Editor.)
Sir, —May I claim a small space in your paper to reply to "Main Body's" letter of 29th. In it he makes a request that the Sunshine League help the returned soldiers. I think, the proper society to help the returned soldiers is their own society. The Sunshine League activities are for patients in hospital, and how they carry out their noble work is only realised by those who have been patients in the Waikato Hospital. Why try and beat those who are lying on their backs for any comfort the Sunshine League can procure for them? The Sunshine League intends to in-, stal radio in the Bailey Ward, the saddest ward in our hospital. This extravaganza is not for the League's funds. It is purely and simply for radio for hospital. I trust the public of Hamilton and surrounding districts will appreciate their effort by a large attendance. The performance is unique in the history of Hamilton. Great credit is due to all those who have been working so hard to make this performance the success it richly deserves.—l am, etc., \.
EX-PATIENT.
