NEW LIBERAL PARTY.
CONFERENCE IN WELLINGTON.
WELLINGTON, Monday
A conference w:'h the object of completing the organisation of the new Liberal Party will be held tomorrow, and will be attended by representative supporters of Liberalism from all parts of the Dominion. The leader of the party, Mr W. A. Veitch, M.P. for Wanganui. said this morning that the business of the conference would consist of discussion upon, and the adoption of, a constitution, the setting up of national committees to undertake general party work,'finance, etc. "I am very well satisfied with the response to my invitation to the conference," said Mr Veitch. "The whole question of the future line of action to lie adopted by the parly will be considered and decided. lam also thoroughly satisfied with the results of my organisation work so far as it has gone/and I can sec no reason why it should not' become a complete success when it has been further extended. A very large section of public opinion is undoubtedly with us."
