HOCKEY.
MORRINSVILLE v. CAMBRIDGE. A hockey match was played on the Recreation Ground, Morrinsville, on Saturday, between teams representing the Morrinsville and Cambridge Hockey Clubs. Although the ground was wet and slippery the day was fine, and a well-contested, enjoyable game resulted in a win for Morrinsville by 7 points tl 3.
For Morrinsville Cottingham (2), Simmons (2), C. Cooper (2), and Hasty scored, and for Cambridge T. Kelly and McKinnon were the scorers, scorers.
