Making Jelly. —To turn jelty out without breaking it, try rubbing a very little of the best olive oil on the shape before pouring in the jelly. Embrocation for Sprains. —Take * gill turpentine, * gill acetic acid, whites of 2 eggs. Put into a bottle, and shake vigorously.

Embrocation for Rheumatism. — Take * pint each of turpentine, sweet oil, hartshorn, and gin. Shake well. If rubbed in before a lire, it will greatly ease the pain.

For the Sick Room. —Put some freshly-ground coffee in a saucer, and in the centre place a small piece of gum camphor. Light a match, and as the gum burns allow sufficient coffee to consume with it. The perfume is very pleasant.
