SENIORS. Pukomiro (1) v. Wanderers (O). At Seddon Park Pukcmiro picked up two valuable, points as a result of this game, although they .had several anxious times, especially in I lie second half, when from bursts of the home side' it seemed likely that the Wanderers would at least equalise. Taking the match all through, however, Pukcmiro were Ihe heller side, Hunter saving well for them at times. Rumuey scored the winning goal for the visitors with an opportunist shot mid-way through the second half. Mr James Baillie refereed. JUNIORS. Claudelands Rovers 1 v. Y.M.C.A. 0. At Seddon Park Rovers had the best of the play practically throughout the game, but Y.M.C.A. put up a very determined defence, Baillie being the only one to score, this being registered in the first half. Mr Reg. Cook refereed. SCHOOLS. Whltlora (4) v. Hamilton East (O). Whitiora were at full strength on Saturday at Seddon Park, whilst East were very weak indeed. Handicapped as Lhey were it was not surprising that East lost their first game this season. A. Crabb (2), Frisken and Woodhall scored for Whitiora. Mr George Cox refereed. AT AUCKLAND. AUCKLAND, Monday. A dramatic finish decided tiie replay of the Chatham Cup first round match between North Shore and Tramways at Blandford Park on Satu 'day afternoon. The game was almost over when North Shore rallied to the attack and hemmed in the Tramways backs. The latter did their best to avoid the only goal of the game, but a series of mistakes ended in the ball rolling into Tramways' goal, although no North Shop player had piloted it there. As a curtain-raiser, the match be-tween-Possibles and Probables served the useful purpose of assisting the selector in his ctoice of an Auckland representative team. The result was a draw, one all. FIRST TEST MATACH. DEPARTURE OP AUCKLANDERS. AUCKLAND, Monday. The five Aucklauders chosen to play for New Zealand in the first Association football test match against Canada in Dunedin next Saturday, left by train for the South last evening. The players are:—R. Innes (Ponsonby), H. Spencer and A. Tinkler (Tramways), D, Jones (North Shore), captain, -A D. Hislop Cinistle). On arrival in Dunedin the team will go into camp for a few days of rigorous practice. CANADA BEATS CANTERBURY. VISITORS WIN BY SIX GOALS. CHRISTCHURCH, Saturday. Conditions could not have been much worse for the football match, Canada v. Canterbury, at English Park to-day. The ground was thoroughly wet and heavy. Canada won decisively by 6 goals 'to 0, but Canterbury missed several opportunities. MASTERTON, Sunday. The New Zealand Association Foot-, ball Council has extended the tour of the Canadian team to embrace Wairarapa. The visitors will play here on July 17. IN THE SOUTH. DUNEDIN, Sunday.
