__ STr, —I notice in your advertisement columns an eulogy on “A Romantio Spectacle of One Night—to be remembered for generations.” I have not seen this masterpiece as presented at the Theatre Royal, but together with other passers-by, I am able to study scenes from “The Night of Love’ on pictures in the street. lam concerned to know whether I am singular in viewing this triumph of our Aim management with amazement, or whether there are other citizens who before these pictures And themselves echoing the comment of a visitor to our town, “What Shocking Pictures!” Surely if ours are shocking pictures it is someone’s business to look into the matter. —I am, etc., A TEMPORARY RESIDENT,
