ARMAMENT UNDERSTANDING DEFINITE AGREEMENT PROBABLE (A. P. Assu. and Sun.) (Received June 18, 10.15 a.m.) GENEVA, June 17. Admiral Saitoh, head of the Japanese delegation, interviewed, said he believed a definite agreement would be reached regarding armaments', since it was very necessary, owing to the mad competition in this sphere. There were certain to be divergencies of opinion on the subject, but it was equally certain that Britain, America and Japan desired an understanding in the interests of the peace of the world.
