BOWLING.

CAMBRIDGE TOURNAMENT. The Cambridge Easter tournament opened on Friday morning in glorious weather. The greens arc in splendid condition, but owdng to the tournament being late in the season, it was decided to play 18 head games instead of 21. There are 54 teams taking part, which constitute a wdde representation. The president of the Cambridge Club (Mr D. J. Lundon) in officially opening the tournament, extended a hearty welcome to the players. The Municipal Band rendered selections during the afternoon, which helped to liven the proceedings.
