MORE SUSPENSIONS.
MR. LANG’S INTENTION.
(United Prrss Association.) (Received April 16, 10.30 a.m.y SYDNEY, April-16. A conference of the Australian La«* bour Party convened by Mr. Seale has opened and .it suspended from office for three years Mr. Gonroy, who was elected president by the Australian Labour Party executive, Mr. Carey, general secretary, Mr. Gibbs, assistant secretary, and other members of the majority section.
Mr. Lang in an address to the conference, declared that one of the principal planks of the Government’s next election would be the abolition of the Legislative Council. The militants’ capture of most of the official positions in the conference also gave Mr Lang authority to reconstruct his Cabinet
