MR @ <® (« <g Si: 5 •■[tm 3 S s® mt m m «sm tsawxz Kggn In the middle of January last, word was cabled from London stating it was believed that where others had failed, DUNLOP English Dunlop had succeeded in building motor tyres capable of enabling Major Segrave to attain the world’s motoring record of two hundred miles an hour. # A further cable was received a few days later with the good news that in a test these Dunlop Tyres had been subjected to the same strain as on a racing track with the most successful results. Then in February, Captain Malcolm Campbell, using Dunlop Tyres, established a new world’s record of 174.22 miles per hour on the Pendine Sands.
