iV3S! CHARLES HO.V.DAWAY.
The death of Mr Charles IToldaway, aged 82, took place at Honikiwi, Ohorohanga, on Friday. Mr Hokla•.vay was horn at Nelson, his lather and mother having come out to New Zealand in one of the first ships to sail from England. He was for some years engaged in the. lloiirmilling business al Maslerlon, and was one of Hie original selectors of land al Ballanee. lie then took up land at'Vhikolaha, near Hamilton, which he farmed until recent years.
